Q&A

Does the lobster meat come frozen as a single, solid package? If so, I would want to be able to divide it into single meal portions - can it be re-frozen?
Thanks Lee for the great question! Our lobster meat does indeed come as one package, so it would be tough to portion this out without at least partially thawing the package. Generally, we do not recommend refreezing frozen products. We flash freeze our items with proprietary methods that preserve the taste, texture, and quality of the meat, but home freezing is much slower and harsher, so there could be some integrity loss on the product. Is the lobster meat frozen or fresh? Is the meat just claws &amp; knuckles, or does it contain tail meat?
Hey Liz, thank you for reaching out! Currently our Maine Lobster Meat is fresh, and is a claw &amp; knuckle blend. We will be sure to update our product descriptions/variations if we ever add further options. For tail meat, we do have our (in shell) frozen lobster tails as well! Hello I&#x27;m considering ordering lobster meat. How many meals would 1 lb provide. It seems like too much for a single person. considering lobster tails but are they also from Maine. I thought tails (as I know them) are from other places and not usually from Maine?
Marianne, thank you for reaching out! With 1lb of Lobster Meat, depending on how you use it, you would probably get 4-6 individual servings. And our Lobster Tails are indeed from Maine! We are interested in ordering a large order for the 4th of July. I have been using another lobster company in Maine. They use FedEX for their overnight deliveries, we have had a hard time getting shipments due to FedEx not being able to get the orders to Southport, NC in an overnight delivery. who do you use for lobster deliveries to Southport, NC 28461. thank you
